YA HALLA….A JOYOUS WELCOME to the Arab Heritage Pavilion, sponsored by the Canadian Arab Friendship Association, winners of the Best Overall Pavilion for an incredible 11 years! Come and enjoy our great food, hands on demonstrations, amazing stage show, and of course our wonderful display pavilion showing our proud heritage!
This year we are also offering some amazing new items from the Middle East, including a huge array of glass, brass and ethnic clothing that is combined with the availability of MasterCard, Visa and Interact, when you purchase from our sales pavilion.

- 6 – Arabic Falafel – A Vegetarian Delight Falafel with tahina sauce, veggies wrapped in pita bread. Kick it up a notch with some hot peppers
- 3 – Baklawa – Filo Pastry stuffed with nuts, baked & dipped in honey sauce
- 8 – Combo Plate – Your choice of Shish Kabob or Kafta served with Hummus, fattouch salad & pita
- 4 – Fattouch Salad – A medley of fresh vegetables, tossed with sumac, lemon, olive oil & garnished with crisped pita bread
- 4 – Hummus (Mediterranean Dip) – A well-known tasty chickpea dip served with pita for dipping
- 6 – Kafta Kabab – Lean ground beef spiced with parsley & onions, barbecued & served on a pita with hummus
- 3 – Maamoul – Two varieties – A delicious sweet made of wheatlets & stuffed with either dates or pistachios & baked golden brown
- 5 – Meat on Pita – Fresh ground, extra lean beef with fresh crushed tomatoes, onions, & an aromatic array of herbs & spices baked on home-style pita bread. Zaatar is the vegetarian version replacing meat with oregano
- 6 – Shish Kabob – lean cubes of Top Sirloin marinated in a delicious array of spices and then barbecued to perfection and served with pita bread– try with a spread of hummus for a delicious taste
- 4 – Spinach Fatayer – A vegetarian’s delight – fresh spinach with the fresh squeezed flavour of lemon, onions, herbs & spices, stuffed in savoury dough & baked golden brown
- 5 – Zatar on Pita – Sun dried oregano, sesame seeds, & exotic spices blended with olive oil & served over a home-style pita bread & baked to perfection
- 3 – Thin Arabic Bread – a mix of whole wheat and all-purpose flower, corn flour, yeast, salt, sugar and oil. What makes this huge arabic bread extra thin is baking it on a baking tin.

- 3 – Jallab – Cool & exotic, the nectar of dates & a hint of rosewater served over crushed ice. Try it topped with a few pine nuts
