Bosnia-Hercegovina
Bujrum (Welcome) to the Bosnia and Hercegovina pavilion! A land of breathtaking scenery and a multicultural heritage. Bosnia and Hercegovina is located in south Eastern Europe on the Balkan Peninsula. Bosnia’s landscape is dotted with glacial lakes and natural springs, many of which support thermal health spas or are tapped for bottled mineral water. Bosnian music, like its architecture, reflects the many cultural influences that made their way into the country over centuries. Our cuisine is a delicious combination of the flavours of Central Europe, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean. In the short time that our community in Edmonton has existed, we have been able to establish programs that honour our history and heritage such as the Bosnian School, the Bosnian Folklore Program, as well as the Bosnian Soccer Club. We invite all visitors to experience our culture, history, and cuisine as we celebrate our 16th year with the Servus Heritage Festival.
