CTV is proud to present the second Edmonton Heritage Festival Association Citizen of the Year Award.
The award is presented in recognition of a person who has contributed to promote awareness and understanding and appreciation for cultural diversity.
The CTV Citizen of the Year will be publicly announced and recognized at the Swearing in of New Canadians held at the Heritage Amphitheatre Monday August 1st during the Servus Heritage Festival.
To qualify for CTV Citizen of the Year
This award will be presented in recognition of a person who has contributed to help promote awareness and understanding and appreciation for cultural diversity.
WHO ARE THE CANDIDATES
- Long term commitment to cultural diversity
– A person who is willing, responsible and accountable for their work
– The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to the mission of the Edmonton Heritage Festival Association. (Assist in promoting public awareness, understanding and appreciation for cultural diversity)
A letter of recognition must be completed and signed by two (2) individuals by the deadline of July 20th 2012.
