Annual Report

2009 marks the 34th annual Servus Heritage Festival. There will be 62 Pavilions representing over 80 cultures. We will continue to be a “Green” Festival. Knives, forks, spoons, plates, bowls, cups and napkins are biodegradable. ENMAX is supplying wind power. Park n Ride will still be in effect and there will be two “gated” bicycle compounds at each end of Hawrelak Park.

“Come for a Perfect Day” and enjoy over 500 ethnic cultural performances and a countless selection of foods from around the world.

The Shumka Dancers will be performing their 50th Anniversary Show at the Heritage Amphitheater August 1 and August 2. The Pavilions will be supplying performers for the Monday show at the Amphitheater. This is a family event and for that reason we have a huge interactive children’s corner for the young people to enjoy.

Once again, “Come for a Perfect Day” and stay for all three!
